Instapot Rasam

 

3qt ip - Oil and ghee swirled to coat the bottom of the pot 
 
Tadka - Hand pounded (mortar and pestle) mixture of 1 large garlic clove, black pepper corns, jeera and Asaofetida/Perungayam
 
Finely chopped medium tomato
1/4 cup pre cooked toor dal plus 2 cups water 
  • Chilli Powder
  • Salt 
  • rasam powder 
  • tamarind
  • powdered jaggery 

Steam More - 5 minutes, sealing
